Emilia Lozano, Co-Founder (2018/2019 School Year - Present)
Emilia is a high-achieving 16 year old junior here at PHHS. She takes many AP classes,
and is currently enrolled in Blue Water Middle College. In fact, her and James met in
AP US History ninth grade year, both having a love for the class. She's found a passion for Chemistry, and is thinking about possibly pursuing a career in it. Emilia is a very outgoing person, willing to try anything and take risks. Not to mention, she has a very large sense of humor, one of the many things that all of her friends value about her.

James Barden, Co-Founder (2018/2019 School Year - Present)
James is also a high-achieving 16 year old junior here at PHHS. He transferred from Marysville to
PHHS right after the end of seventh grade. He also takes many AP classes, although  they are more geared
towards the more artistic and social science side of things. James loves art, taking AP Art and having
pursued art for a long time outside of school, along with poetry and music. James is going to pursue aviation  after high school, with WMU's aviation program.  James likes to reflect on his time at PH, with his friends and classes such as APUSH which have shaped his life.

Jonas Evers, Writer (Previous Writer - 2018/2019 School Year)
Jonas is the first outside writer The Lighthouse has had. He's from Germany, and is here
at PHHS as a foreign exchange student for a year. Jonas likes to play tennis, play guitar,
and sing. He runs a blog, and writes a lot. Jonas mentions that he has had many
adventures in the United States, after all he did venture here by himself. Jonas is a very
warm person, going out of his way to help his friends who he hasn't even known all
that long, along with committing to The Lighthouse while writing for his own school
newspaper, the Bloody Mary, back in Germany. We (James and Emilia) appreciate Jonas's
commitment and kindness more than he might realize.
